She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Harp Performance From the University of Arizona and a Master of Music in Harp Performance and Pedagogy from the prestigious Peabody Conservatory.

Liska Yamada is a classically trained harpist whose work spans live concerts, television appearances, studio recordings, and special events.
Her performance experience includes work with Melanie Martinez, Robert Glasper, and Steve Lacy, as well as a recent performance with KATSEYE. Bringing together her classical training and experience across contemporary music, Liska performs for audiences in settings ranging from concert stages to intimate wedding celebrations.

Liska performs in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California and is now welcoming advance enquiries for Netherlands performances from April 2027, particularly weddings and special events. Enquiries for concerts, recordings, collaborations, and performances in other locations are also welcome.
In her free time, she enjoys composing and arranging harp pieces and spending time with her orange tabby, Antonio.
