Liska Yamada is a classically trained harpist with over twenty years of performance experience across live concerts, television, studio recordings, weddings, and special events.
Her performance credits include work with Melanie Martinez, Miguel, Robert Glasper, Steve Lacy, and KATSEYE. She joined Melanie Martinez’s band for the K–12 Tour in 2019 and appears in Recess with Melanie Martinez, part of the Extra Credit collaboration with YouTube Music.
Liska’s television appearances include Selling Sunset, Dancing with the Stars, and a performance with Miguel at the 2018 BET Awards. She can also be heard and seen performing her arrangement of “Don’t Fear the Reaper” in the finale of the Peacock series Mrs. Davis.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Arizona and a Master of Music in Harp Performance and Pedagogy from the Peabody Conservatory. Her work brings together a foundation in classical music with experience across contemporary genres.
Liska performs in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California and is welcoming advance enquiries for performances in the Netherlands from April, with a particular focus on weddings and special events. Enquiries for concerts, recording sessions, collaborations, and performances in other locations are also welcome.
